Cathy Saldaña

Cathy Saldaña, born in 1966, is the owner and managing director of PDP Architects, also styled pdp + Architecture, the Makati-based firm she founded in 1992. She earned a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of the Philippines in 1990 and later completed a master's in management at the Asian Institute of Management, pairing design training with business leadership. Her firm is recognized as one of the few women-led architectural practices in the Philippines, and she is a vocal advocate for women in the profession.

Saldaña is a certified Green Building Professional through the U.S. Green Building Council and has focused much of her career on sustainable island and resort development. Her portfolio includes Seda Lio, the first Seda-branded resort in the Lio Tourism Estate in El Nido, Palawan, along with commercial towers such as the Damosa Diamond Tower in Davao City, which was named Best Office Architectural Design at the 2019 Philippine Property Awards. She has been elevated to Fellow of the United Architects of the Philippines and serves as an AIA International country representative.
