Sudarshan Khadka

Sudarshan Khadka Jr. is a partner at Leandro V. Locsin Partners, one of the most established design practices in the Philippines, where he has been in charge of numerous projects. He also leads his own studio, i.incite, and collaborates with Norwegian architect Alexander Eriksson Furunes under the partnership Khadka and Eriksson Furunes. His work moves between large institutional commissions and small, community-built projects.

Khadka is best known for two Philippine Pavilions at the Venice Architecture Biennale. He co-curated Muhon: Traces of an Adolescent City, the country's first pavilion at the 2016 Biennale, which examined identity and heritage in a rapidly changing megacity. He returned in 2021 with Structures of Mutual Support, a library and mediation space designed with Eriksson Furunes and built through Bayanihan with the Gawad Kalinga Enchanted Farm community in Bulacan.

His community work has been recognized internationally. Streetlight Tagpuro, an orphanage and community center in Tacloban rebuilt after Typhoon Haiyan, was developed with the community through participatory workshops and won the Small Project of the Year and the Civic and Community category at the 2017 World Architecture Festival.
