What they do

Hearth Group is a Makati-based architecture firm established in 2019 and led by principal architect Jaime W. Hermogenes, who previously worked as a senior architect at GF & Partners Architects. The practice offers a full slate of services across architectural design, planning, interior architecture, graphics and architectural photography, serving homeowners, business owners and property developers.

Its portfolio mixes residential and non-residential work. House 2217 in Benguet draws on the traditional Igorot house, a stilted form whose triangular roof echoes the mountain silhouettes and pine trees of the Mountain Province; the firm cites architect Hugh Newell Jacobsen's line that "a house should look like a house."

Hearth Group has drawn industry recognition: its HB Mausoleum received a Special Mention in the Architizer A+Awards (Architecture +Small Projects) in 2022, and the firm has been cited among the top architecture firms in the Philippines.
