What they do
LLG Architects is a Cebu practice built on the idea that form follows landscape: designing with the terrain rather than against it, terracing and threading indoor and outdoor space together, with a materiality of stone, wood and marble.
The studio was founded in 2012 by husband-and-wife architects Patrick Lendel Go and Leizle Marie Go; Leizle graduated cum laude in architecture from the University of San Carlos in Cebu and previously practised at RMJM Philippines, now AIDEA. The firm works across architecture and interior architecture with an emphasis on detail and execution.
Its award depth is real. The Rise at Monterrazas, a hillside residential tower inspired by the Banaue rice terraces, was a 2024 Architizer A+Awards jury winner, a World Architecture Festival 2024 shortlist, and an IADA 2024 Platinum winner. At the renovated Hillside Home in Nivel Hills, a pool sits among retained mature trees and stone walls, the kind of landscape-led residential work LLG is known for.
